US FedRAMP compliance will allow Autodesk to serve government agencies that require certification for cloud products

Autodesk has initiated the US federal government compliance process for cloud products and services known as the Federal Risk and Authorisation Management Program (FedRAMP).

This compliance will allow Autodesk to serve government agencies that require the certification to use cloud offerings such as Autodesk A360, achieving ‘in process’ status by partnering with the United States Army Corps of Engineers and continuing to work toward FedRAMP security requirements.

“Federal agencies and system integrators have been requesting access to Autodesk cloud products for some time now as they need the agility and performance that cloud-based design technologies deliver,” said Amar Hanspal, Autodesk senior VP, Information Modelling and Platform Group. “The ‘in process’ ranking brings us one step closer to fulfilling that need.”
