Real-time viz and VR tool is powered by Unreal Engine and will be available for Windows and MacOS
Twinmotion 2018, the latest release of the real-time visualisation and VR software for architects, designers and urban planners, will be released on July 31 at Siggraph 2017 in Los Angeles, California.
The software, which is powered by Unreal Engine, will be available on both Windows and MacOS.
It offers “1-click sync” with ArchiCAD and Revit, which means any changes made to the BIM model can be updated in Twinmotion with a single click. ‘1-click’ also applies to entering VR, to experience designs using HMDs like the HTC Vive, as well as adding materials, vegetation and people to the scene.
Abvent, the developer of Twinmotion, has produced five teaser videos to offer a sneak peek of what’s new in Twinmotion 2018.
The Revit and ArchiCAD videos piqued our interest at AEC Magazine so we’ve pasted them below.
