Firm says move demonstrates how interactive 3D visualisations for architects and manufacturers can be delivered via the cloud.

CL3VER, the developer of a cloud-based platform for interactive 3D presentations for the web and mobile devices, has joined Amazon Web Services’ AWS Partner Network (APN). According to CL3VER CTO Daniel Iborra, AWS has allowed his firm to automatically scale its platform to support millions of visualisations while maintaining an impressive 3D scene loading speed.

CL3VER is predominantly focused on architecture and provides export plug-ins for Revit, 3ds Max, Maya, SketchUp and SolidWorks. Models can be brought directly into the CL3VER editor, a cloud-based editing tool that runs in a web browser. Alternatively, .fbx, .3ds, .dae, .kmz, .stl and .obj files can be dragged and dropped into the editor.

“CL3VER has created a platform for communication and presentation of ideas that is intuitive, immersive and scalable. Their latest Revit plug-in helps bring 3D models into the CL3VER platform with a simple one-click solution, making the setup of a presentation as easy as possible,” said Jorge Barrero, Senior Associate at global design firm Gensler. “Their cloud based platform integrates 2D and 3D data in a seamless presentation providing multiple opportunities to effectively communicate design intent and solutions. The web-based interface provides both a secure private and non-secure public environment. We see CL3VER as a great compliment to a designer’s toolset and a potential game changer in Design Collaboration.”
