Newforma has launched Info Track, a new module for its AEC information management platform Newforma Konekt, designed to enhance team collaboration.

According to Newforma, Info Track centralises every project conversation, file, task, and decision, empowering distributed and multidisciplinary teams to collaborate and stay connected, wherever they work.

“With Info Track, we’re inviting the industry to reconnect with Newforma and redefine what’s possible,” said Peter Cannone, CEO of Newforma. “Modern design and build firms need to use information management and project coordination to get a competitive advantage or risk being left behind. They must move faster, collaborate seamlessly, and maintain accountability across distributed teams—and they need to do it as easily as a kid starts playing with a toy on Christmas morning: no manual required.”

One of the key features of Info Track is centralised communication, allowing team members to ‘Instantly access’ every project conversation—emails, Teams messages, notes, and more—in one place.

There’s also a connected file ecosystem for organising, sharing, and auditing all project documents with built-in connectors for SharePoint, Autodesk Docs, Azure, Panzura, Nasuni, and more.

Elsewhere, with ‘actionable task management’ conversations can be turned into tasks, assign responsibility, set deadlines, and track progress from any device.

Other features include Deep Search, to help users ‘instantly find’ emails, drawings, decisions, and files; an Integrated 2D Viewer; and a ‘complete, auditable project record’.
