iTWOsafe ‘smart distancing’ solution can issue proximity alerts and trace contact history
A new smartphone-based ‘smart distancing’ technology is helping maintain social distancing on construction sites. iTWOsafe smartly monitors and tracks physical distancing using an app, which is downloaded to a user’s smartphone, and a light-weight Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices which is attached to the working outfit.
By linking the two together the solution can be used to measure working distances, give alerts and provide reports including a traceable contact history for infection emergencies.
iTWOsafe is developed by RIB Group and A2K Technologies and is available in the UK from Cadline. Limited app access will be available soon.
