BIM Show Live issues call for papers

Event organisers want to hear about the emerging ideas and the creative application of new technologies, as well as the individuals making an impact

BIM Show Live has issued a call for papers for its 2020 event which will be held on 26-27 Feb at the Boiler Shop, Newcastle.

The two-day conference attracts up to 400 delegates and provides an opportunity for built environment professionals to exchange knowledge on the emerging ideas and technological advancements in digital construction and beyond.

The 2020 event features four content streams: Technology, focusing on the ‘application of innovation’; Next Generation, for ideas that have the power to disrupt; People, who are changing the industry; and Stories, for technologies and processes that have been trialled and tested.

The closing date for papers is 7 November 2019.

On the evening of Wednesday 26 February, BIM Show Live will also feature the BIM Awards 2020, which aims to celebrate the innovators and pioneers of digital construction. The awards are free to enter and the deadline for entries is 7 November 2019.

The categories this year are: Large BIM Project of the Year; Small BIM Project of the Year; Best New BIM Product/Software; Best BIM Training Programme; BIM Rising Star; BIM Designer of the Year; BIM Specialist of the Year; BIM Constructor of the Year; and Client of the Year
