Acquisition of landscape and civil design software ‘ important step’ in the development of UK firm’s BIM offering
Keysoft Solutions, a specialist in landscaping, traffic management, road safety, street lighting and highways maintenance engineering software has acquired the rights to the LandCADD suite of landscape and civil design software from US firm Eagle Point Software.
“LandCADD is a renowned global brand, particularly for its land modelling and civil design functionality,” says Keysoft’s managing director Jeremy Ellis. “This strategic acquisition provides us with the capacity to extend the Keysoft Landscape portfolio and ensures that LandCADD will continue to be developed for the international market.”
“The acquisition marks an important step in the development of our Building Information Modelling (BIM) offering and responds to our customers’ growing need to visualise their proposals in 3D. This extends the reach of our BIM capability to both the early design and facilities management phases of a project, adding a new level to our suite of BIM compliant software,” he adds.
