NEWS: Rhino 2015 UK user meeting announced for June

Attendees will get the latest on Rhino 6, Rhino for Mac and Kangaroo as well presentations on everything from jewellery design to sports stadiums.

Users of Rhino 3D on this fair isle rejoice, for the software company has announced 9 June as the date for its 2015 UK user meeting in London.

There will be plenty of new developments and software capabilities including Rhino 6 development news and a sneak preview of Rhino for Mac, including how the new OSX release will compare to the Windows version and what plug-ins will it support.

Kangaroo 2.0, the latest release of the Live Physics engine for interactive simulation, form-finding, optimisation and constraint solving, will also be on show.

The team at UK reseller Simply Rhino has also put together a line-up of talks taking in everything from jewellery design through to sports stadiums.

Myron Sullivan + Nick Tyrer from London-based architectural practice Pattern Design will be presenting the firm’s first built project, HBZ Stadium, as well as some recent design work and research utilising parametric design.

Nicolas Register, design director at Marc Newson Ltd will be showcasing some of the studio’s recent projects that have involved Rhino.

The event takes place at the Crypt on the Green in Clerkenwell, London and tickets cost £40 plus VAT (including lunch), with an even lower rate for students.
