Web-based tool, which works with IFC and Revit files, is claimed to be the world’s fastest
Danish software developer Dalux claims to have the world’s fastest cloud-based BIM viewer, Dalux FreeBIM.
The 2D / 3D combined viewer is a free 10MB download. It allows users to navigate large models, cut through sections in real time and view drawing sheets within the context of the 3D model.
The software supports Revit and IFC models. IFC models are uploaded directly but Revit models are uploaded via a Revit plug-in.
Dalux FreeBIM currently only runs on Windows but Dalux also has plans for a FreeBIM app.
The company also develops Construction site software Dalux Field and collaboration tool Dalux Project.
