Eurocom Sky X9W features desktop Intel Core i7 6700K CPU, Quadro M5000M GPU and a 17.3-inch 4K display
It’s a bold claim but Eurocom says its new Sky X9W mobile workstation is the most powerful mobile workstation ever made.
The 17.3” laptop is equipped with an Intel ‘Skylake’ CPU up to the Intel Core i7 6700K, 64GB DDR4 memory, up to 5TB of storage and professional graphics up to the Nvidia Quadro M5000M (8GB) powering a 4K Ultra HD matte IPS display.
The machine is user-upgradable, fully customisable and can be configured with a variety of options including various Quadro GPUs and high performance desktop processors, thanks to the desktop Z170 chipset and LGA 1151 CPU socket. The machine can host up to two super-fast M.2 NVMe SSDs with two more SATA3 HDD or SSD for large capacity drives. RAID 0/1/5/10 are all supported.
The downside: the machine is 428 x 308 x 45mm in size and weighs 4.8kg.
