Assemble Systems solution will help global independent construction companies improve design, preconstruction and construction processes
PCL Construction has selected a BIM Data Management Solution from Assemble Systems. The group of independent construction companies will incorporate the software across the enterprise for use on all of its BIM-based projects to help improve design, preconstruction and construction processes.
PCL is involved with more than 700 projects at any given time ranging in value from $20,000 to more than $1 billion. These projects include office towers, residential condominiums, retail outlets, hotels and resorts, educational and health care facilities, casinos, sport and entertainment complexes and more.
“We evaluated multiple solutions, Assemble was by far the right fit for our pre-construction team.” says Mark Bryant, Chief Information Officer, PCL Construction. “Ease of use and integration into our existing workflows was a major consideration in choosing Assemble. Assemble is enabling us to extend model usage to roles that haven’t traditionally been involved in BIM. With Assemble, our estimating department is now able to use the models for rapid quantity takeoff, change management and visualization of building components.”
