Software allows the user to roam inside a building model
Prototech has added a VR capability to its WebGL/HTML exporter for Revit, which is designed to make it easy to publish Revit models to websites.
According to the developer, the new capability will allow the user to roam inside the building / structure of any model and feel their presence virtually there.
To support VR headsets, including Google cardboard, the browser screen has been split in two. To rotate and roam around the model,
Prototech captures mobile device movements and the camera inside the model rotates accordingly. The software also provides support to walk inside the CAD model. Prototech’s WebGL Exporter for Revit costs $79. There is also a free trial.
