Nemetschek SCIA competition open to users of Scia Engineer and Allplan Engineering
Nemetschek SCIA has launched its 2015 “The Art of Structural Design” competition.
The global contest is open to users of Scia Engineer and Allplan Engineering and boasts a prize fund of €9.000, international publicity for the winners and an appearance in “The Art of Structural Design” book.
The competition is split into four categories: i) Buildings, ii) Civil Structures, iii) Industrial Buildings and Plants, iv) Special Projects.
Entries will be judged by an international jury, taking into account, the technical level of the design, detailing and/or the calculations, the use of Open BIM and interoperability, the originality and prestige of the project and the optimal use of features within the software.

The contest starts on 1 December 2014 and will close on 28 February 2015.
