Design Thinking, Teams and Disruptive Technologies. – NXT BLD London, June 2018

Dr. Abel Maciel explored some of the challenges we face today, especially the interoperability of data through advanced tools: cloud computing, concept simulation, collaborative working, ‘assisted decision making’, big data, generative design, reality capture, virtualisation and building management systems. He also gave an insight into emerging technologies – Blockchain, how game theory modelling could be applied to improve collaboration and combining IoT with machine learning and Blockchain to make data more machine readable and how that integrates with BIM processes.
