Autodesk BIM 360 Plan provides a visual, collaborative way to manage short-term project schedules

Autodesk BIM 360 Plan is a new web service and mobile app designed to simplify day to day construction planning.

With an easy-to-use, highly visual interface, Autodesk says it’s a fresh, new, and cloud-enhanced way to evolve from today’s tedious manual processes involving spreadsheets and other forms of documentation and collaboration.

According to Autodesk, BIM 360 Plan helps a wide range of construction workers—from foremen to project engineers—to quickly and easily create and update their production plans. Not only does this replace the manual process of entering data into spreadsheets to create weekly schedule updates, says Autodesk, it eliminates the time and effort required to distribute the information to project stakeholders.

BIM 360 Plan can also be used to track and report on key performance metrics. Users can drill down to see metrics for a specific phase, location or trade partner on the project.
