Acquisition of Virtual Project Delivery firm will help e-Builder expands its construction program management software with BIM technology
e-Builder, a developer of cloud-based construction program management software, has acquired the assets of Scenario Virtual Project Delivery (VPD), a specialist in collaborative BIM technology for construction.
With the acquisition e-Builder plans to make its e-Builder Enterprise project management information system more tightly integrated with BIM.
“While many project management and BIM technologies are available for contractors and designers, our combined technology will provide the only integrated system that is designed from the ground up to meet the needs of the building owner throughout the process from planning to construction,” said Ron Antevy, President & CEO, e-Builder.
