Software designed to help AEC professionals streamline design processes while meeting demanding document control requirements

Graitec Opentree 2023, the latest release of the AEC-focused drawing and document management system, has added several new features, improved the interface, simplified common operations and improved overall usability.

The top five new features include: Sets for creating collections of related documents without generating extra copies; Bulk Import for dragging and dropping folders and files into Opentree for quick and easy filing; Revit PDF Sheets for updating title blocks in PDF sheets as they pass through the approval workflow; DWG Xrefs for automatically locking or binding Xrefs before sending for checking or issuing to the client; and Advance CAD Integration for plotting DWG files to PDF whilst applying a custom plot style (.CTB file).

“Since the UK Government BIM mandate in 2016 we have witnessed the evolution of technology and design processes globally through ISO 19650. More importantly the AEC market is realizing the benefits of better information management, understanding that a structured consistent approach can help drive real productivity, reduce costs and be more sustainable,” says Gary Edwards, business line director, Manage.

“With the 2023 release of Opentree we continue to empower our customers to do just that. Our leading technology is helping users worldwide to deliver accurate information and better-quality designs on time. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do helping the AEC industry to build a better tomorrow.”
