MSI’s revamped mobile workstation line up includes the WF65, WF75, WS66 and WS75
MSI has revamped its mobile workstation line up, launching the new WF65, WF75, WS66 and WS75 laptops. All four machines are powered by 10th Gen Intel Core processors and Nvidia Quadro RTX GPUs.
To help support their professional credentials, the MSI laptops are certified by several CAD, BIM, viz and CAE software developers including Vectorworks, Graphisoft, Enscape, Autodesk, Dassault Systèmes, Siemens, Adobe and Ansys.
The WS66 weighs 2.1kg and is less than 20mm thick, but can pack in an 8-core Intel Core or Xeon CPU, Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000 GPU, 64GB RAM and two M.2 SSDs into its jet-black chassis.
It can be configured with a 15.6-inch FHD or 4K touch panel and comes with a 99.9 Whr, which MSI says gives more than 9 hours of battery life.
For security, it has a fingerprint sensor, a Windows Hello IR camera and TPM 2.0 crypto-processor technology.
The WS75 is said to be the world’s first 4K mini-LED HD1000- certified workstation, with reference to the 17.3-inch display which boasts 1,000 nits of brightness to emphasise the brightest whites and deepest blacks.
It’s just over 20mm thick and weighs 2.4kg and has similar specs to the WS66 in terms of CPU, GPU and memory.
