NEWS: BIMobject ships Hercules BIM content management cloud

BIMobject Hercules is a new cloud-based content management solution aimed at the larger contracting, construction, consultant and architectural companies so they can develop, manage, publish and control their own BIM content in a cloud based environment.

The Hercules PaaS (Platform as a Service) solution, which is offered as a yearly subscription, enables companies to self-manage an extensive range of BIM content including documentation, CAD files and BIM objects.

Hercules features all the BIMobject Cloud Apps, including Mosquito for generating BIM objects; BOPC (BIMobject Open Property Cloud) for managing additional properties in BIM objects; and BIManalytics for detailed information on cloud traffic.

Product Administration enables companies to self-manage their content and there is integration into BIM systems including Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp and AutoCAD.

Hercules users can upload their own BIM objects to multiple Project Clouds, attach different data sets to them and then deploy these into their organisation or design teams. Existing manufacturer specific objects, held on the BIMobject public cloud, are also available in Project Clouds making access easy
