Vizible delivers collaborative software while VizBox offers VR hardware in a shippable box
WorldViz has officially launched its Virtual Reality (VR) business collaboration solution, Vizible and also introduced VizBox, a portable, all-in-one VR solution that can be used to join Vizible collaboration sessions.
Vizible allows businesses to create immersive presentations, then meet with anyone, anytime, anywhere in VR. It can help communicate complex ideas to prospects, clients, and internal teams. According to Worldviz, participants can be invited as conveniently as if they were setting up a web conference call.
The software comes with a desktop Presentation Designer, which WorldViz says is similar to Microsoft PowerPoint in that it lets users drag their own content (e.g. PDFs, videos, audio, and 3D models) into a VR presentation and position it wherever they want in virtual space. Vizible also features cloud-based, collaborative editing, and instant cloud sync.
Vizible is available on subscription for $250 per user per month. The price only applies to hosting a session – attendees can join a session free-of-charge.
WorldViz also announced VizBox, a patented, all-in-one boxed solution that includes a VR capable laptop and Oculus Rift VR headset. WorldViz says VizBox is light enough to carry and sturdy enough to ship. Businesses can ship VizBoxes to customers or satellite offices that may not have VR headsets available. The units come with everything needed to connect to a Vizible VR session.
VizBoxes will be available for Vizible users from May 2018 for $7,900 or can be rented upon request.
Both products have been partially funded by a SeedInvest campaign, which is just over half way to raising its $3M maximum for the round.
