Chaos brings AI design exploration into Enscape

Enscape 4.22 integrates Veras 2.0 more closely into the visualisation workflow, alongside new AI tools for design exploration and asset creation.

Chaos has enhanced the integration between its Enscape real-time visualisation software and AI visualisation tool Veras 2.0, bringing AI-powered design exploration directly into the Enscape interface. The update aims to help architects incorporate AI more easily into their existing workflows, generate design variations and experiment with different materials and moods.

Launching today as part of Enscape 4.22, the integration removes the need to bring up a separate Veras window, allowing architects to access AI rendering tools directly within Enscape. New AI video models also offer additional ways to visualise and communicate design ideas.

Petr Mitev, VP Product, Solutions for Designers, said: “AI has enormous potential to support architects’ creativity, not just improve efficiency.

“By bringing Veras closer to the Enscape workflow, we’re making it easier for designers to explore different possibilities, experiment with ideas and make informed creative decisions, without disrupting the way they already work.”

Enscape 4.22 also introduces Chaos AI Assistant (beta), providing in-product guidance and relevant asset recommendations to help architects find answers and content while designing.

Elsewhere, updates to the Chaos Cosmos 3D content library aim to make it easier to turn visual inspiration into usable 3D assets. With Image-Based Search, architects can find visually similar assets using reference images rather than keywords.

AI content is independently produced by the AEC Magazine editorial team. HP and NVIDIA supports the creation of this content, but all opinions and coverage remain editorially independent.

When a suitable asset isn’t available, AI 3D Model Generation (beta) can create a textured 3D asset from an image, reducing the need to model individual objects from scratch. The feature is free to use during beta, subject to usage limits, and does not consume Chaos Credits.

To encourage adoption of its new AI-powered workflows, Chaos is offering 500 additional Chaos Credits with eligible new Enscape trials and annual licence purchases until November 15, 2026. The credits can be used to experiment with Veras, test design variations and explore different creative directions.
