NEWS: Graphisoft UK partners with NBS

Graphisoft UK is working with NBS to integrate its cloud-based specification platform NBS Chorus into ArchiCAD. The integration, which is set to come to fruition next year, will help customers of both firms better coordinate project information, says Graphisoft UK MD, Adrian Girling.

Both the Windows and Mac versions of ArchiCAD will work with NBS Chorus, as NBS CEO, Richard Waterhouse explains, “We know that a key frustration for a lot of our customers in the UK has been the need to use emulation software to run NBS on a Mac – this has now changed with the NBS Chorus platform and the use of cloud technology.”

NBS and Graphisoft UK have stated that their collaboration will go beyond 2019. Previous collaborations between the two companies include the NBS Link plug-in for Graphisoft ArchiCAD and the Library Part Maker tool.

NBS, who provides technical information, specification and BIM tools to construction industry professionals, as well as services for building product manufacturers, recently announced a £31.8m investment from LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group.
