Multi-agent platform designed to automate BIM workflows from the creation of Revit families to rebar modelling
BIMlogiq has enhanced Argus, its AI platform for Revit that uses a team of specialist agents to automate a range of workflows directly within a Revit project. According to the developers, users give it a goal and it plans the steps, chains the tools, and executes end-to-end: placing families, checking the model, tagging and dimensioning, building views and sheets. Runs can be saved as a command for the whole team to reuse.
Recent additions include a Family Creation Agent that can reportedly create fully parametric Revit families from scratch using native Revit components. A Bathroom Agent can design ADA-compliant bathrooms from scratch, automatically placing the required families and laying out the space to meet accessibility standards.
A new MEP Systems Agent is designed to understand MEP systems through their connectors, even when parts of a system are not fully connected. It traces flows through the network, from equipment to terminals, to build an understanding of the system as a whole, while reconciling schedule values with what is actually modelled.
Elsewhere, a rebar modelling agent generates 3D rebar for structures directly from specifications. Engineers can simply attach a PDF specification, and Argus models the reinforcement across foundations, columns and framing, complete with a verification checklist covering anchorage, terminations and bar-length limits.
Bimlogiq can also develop specialised agents for individual firms, training and fine-tuning them on the firm’s past data and designs.
Argus also includes a dedicated QA/QC module, allowing users to describe the rules they want to enforce in plain language. Argus then uses AI to create the corresponding checks.
