Software works with Microsoft HoloLens and supports workflows from Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and others
Visualive3D has launched HoloLive, a mixed reality application that allows users to push 3D design models to Microsoft’s HoloLens with a ‘few simple clicks’. The software uses site survey points or scan markers to position the 3D model precisely.
The company has produced a short video that shows the workflow from Revit to HoloLens using a plug-in. Workflows also exist from Navisworks, AutoCAD and SketchUp.
Visualive3D has also released a video that shows how US general contractor Hensel Phelps is using HoloLive and Microsoft’s HoloLens on a mixed reality project to visualise architectural wall locations and fixtures within a 4,000sq ft shell space.
